How to prepare an order?

Step-by-Step procedure:

1. Print Shipping labels - You can also check in FAQ's How to print airway bill and carrier manifest

Click the drop down button to select the action  e.g., “Print Shipping Labels for Selected Items” then Click GO button for the orders to proceed with the validation process.

  • Printer Settings should be:
              Paper size: A5
              Margins: Default
              Orientation: Portrait
              Tick Headers and Footers

Reminders:
   * Print 2 copies of Shipping Labels / Airway Bill
   * Printer should be Laser Jet.
   * Paper should be A5 (half of A4)
   * Kindly ensure that the printing quality is good so that the bar codes can be easily scanned.
   * Use Google Chrome browser only (download it here)
   * Please be reminded that the old shipping label is for your internal use only. You are not required nor                 should you use this during handover of your packages.

     A. Item in a pouch (For fabrics and clothing)

     1. Prepare the item.
     2. Put the company sales invoice together with the manual and warranty card if available. 
     3. Put in a bubble wrap.
     4. Put in a pouch then sealed.
     5. Put the shipping labels/airway bill in the sleeve of the pouch

     

B. Box over Box Packing Method (All items except for fabrics and clothing)

     1. You have to prepare the item first with it's item box (boxed item)
     2. Put the company sales invoice together with the manual and warranty card if available.
     3. Put it in a bubble wrap.
     4. Place it in a transport box (corrugated box/outer box).

     

      5. We should also use fillers such as shredded papers so we can avoid the item from moving.

     

     6. For the orders that place in a box, merchant should use stick on pouch for the shipping labels.

     

     7. Shipping labels in a stick on pouch should be placed on TOP of the package or the WIDEST AREA available, with all bar codes clearly visible.

     8. The outer box doesn’t need additional bubble wrap but it will depends on you if you want your item to be more protected.

     

C. Liquids/Bottles

To avoid spillage during transit, please follow the proper packaging for liquid items:

  1. Seal the bottle cap with proper adhesives and cover.
  2. Place it in a packaging box.
  3. Fill the box with fillers to keep the item from moving.
  4. Seal the packaging box.
  5. During pickup, separate the liquid items from the non-liquidsand inform the driver which of the items are liquids.
  6. For the orders that place in a box, merchant should use stick on pouch for the shipping labels.
  7. Shipping labels in a stick on pouch should be placed on TOP of the package or the WIDEST AREA available, with all bar codes clearly visible.
  8. The outer box doesn’t need additional bubble wrap but it will depends on you if you want your item to be more protected,

Tips:

*Use empty egg cartons for improvised bottle covers.

*Use dividers for multiple liquid items in 1 box.

*If packaged correctly, you should not be able to feel the bottle's shape.

* It is recommended to label liquid items with a sticker for faster identification.

     *Important Key is not to let it bounce around inside or hit other items/ or the box wall. If pressure is put,   you should not feel the item​.​

     D. Crate/Frame (>10KG needs more support than the outer box)

     1. You have to prepare the item first with it's item box (boxed item)
     2. Put the company sales invoice together with the manual and warranty card if available.
     3. Put it in a bubble wrap.
     4. Seller should use stick on pouch for the shipping labels. 
     5. Shipping labels in a stick on pouch should be placed on TOP of the package or the WIDEST AREA available, with all bar codes clearly visible.
     6. Put the item in a crate.

        

     

4. Change Status from Pending to Ready to Ship

 

*Reminders

A single order with multiple items might have different tracking numbers. Pack items separately if in different tracking numbers to avoid order cancellations.

5. Print Carrier Manifest - You can also check in How to print airway bill and carrier manifest 

  • Click "Orders" tab >> "Manage Orders" >> "Ready to Ship" tab >> Choose the order you need to include the carrier manifest >> Click "Print carrier manifest for selected items

  • Printer Settings should be:
                Paper size: A4
                Margins:  Default
                Orientation: Portrait

Reminders:

* Secure signature from the LEX. Seller should sign too.
* Should be 2 copies. 1 for LEX and 1 for the seller.
